I hate to be a downer, but it seems like Nostr is dying right now, or at least not thriving. Not a lot of excitement or development anymore and low retention. I don’t know this could just be me, but it’s not got the same vibe it did when I joined.

People need time outside of Nostr. I post pictures because I'm a moron, the only thing I can develop is liver failure. But I'm doing my small part.

I have also noticed that Nostr has been pretty quiet lately and I’m not getting much engagement with a lot of my notes at the moment. I don’t think that it is necessarily dying, Nostr is still pretty new and we have seen quiet times like this before. I do feel like there is still too much correlation between Bitcoin price movement and people posting on Nostr. I think we still need more content on a bigger range of topics. Maybe some of it is already there and I just haven’t come across the people posting it yet!
I felt this way for a bit and then realized that I needed to engage and follow more people. Nostr has been so much better than ever once I started connecting with more people. I recommend you just jump into replies and talk to people. Follow new users you find interesting.
