Massive redistribution of wealth from both business owners and customers to low wage retail workers. I think it’s fantastic. If the price of goods and services were just raised by 20% to 30% then most of that would go to the owners. Square’s defaults for tips has single handedly done more to raise wages of the low pay workers than anyone in decades.

Cash app is also responsible for providing bank like services to millions of un-banked people, and revolutionized financing and loans for small retail businesses.

This is not talked about but it’s huge.

amazing

Yeap. It’s so dramatic the way it’s painted “tipflation caused by Jack Dorsey” - it’s like pick all SEOs that hits highest readers and combine the words to form a sentence lol.

Also transfer of wealth through tax back to the govt or to low income workers - maybe here lies the problem? 🤷‍♀️

And yea need better comms for the good this company does for communities globally but won’t be as sensational as “Jack Dorsey xxx...” lol

Yeah I bet Jack laughs at this :)
