If the price of goods and services were just raised by 20% to 30% then most of that would go to the owners. Square’s defaults for tips has single handedly done more to raise wages of the low pay workers than anyone in decades.
Cash app is also responsible for providing bank like services to millions of un-banked people, and revolutionized financing and loans for small retail businesses.
This is not talked about but it’s huge.
