It’s so hard to explain this to people for some reason. I don’t understand why they can’t see it.

What’s worse is how no one seems to understand that a house that gets older every year (all else unchanged) is not getting more valuable.

My house sold close to 1960. It’s brand new price was $18500. Not a thing about it has changed. On could argue Michigan has gone downhill since that time. Its $250,000 now. 60 years older and more broken and its 14 times more expensive.
