Everyone has to get there dick slammed in a door their first bear market—it’s like touching the stove but worse. Everyone need the lesson so they don’t fuck it up the second time around.

I honestly found the second time around worse. Could be life circumstances though. I didn’t have a family to support during the first bear market. The existential dread of having your children’s future riding on your decision making is really a tremendous psychological pressure. Even though I felt highly confident in bitcoin I felt it would be irresponsible not to reexamine it from every angle. So I did that and assessed that nothing had changed fundamentally and that I still believed strongly in my thesis.
