The cookie consent pop-ups have broken the Web. Having to click them away every time you visit a page is terrible UX. Can something be done about it? Is there a technical solution to this annoying problem?

I've tried several extensions for this problem but they didn't work properly. Have you tried this one, and does it work for you?

I'll give it a try as well.

as they wrote it does only work in private windows and to test if it works one has to visit the same page in a private and normal window. Also it is restricted to a unknown (?) list of specific web sites.

So in short: no, I did not test it.

And obviously processing cookie banners automatically requires some kind of scraping technology. Not easy, not reliable. So Im afraid we have to live with that for a while 🤷‍♂️
