One of the worst parts of writing software for Apple platforms is downloading Xcode. Their TOS basically requires you to auth in order to download it. Stuff like https://github.com/XcodesOrg/xcodes has evolved to make this easier, but you still need to provide it your AppleID username and password which is absolutely insane.

I wonder nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7qpq0r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7s85uvay could start distributing Xcode? I don't see why not. This could pretty quickly become the easiest way to install Xcode which would be a pretty big deal ...

Agree.

Actually, funny story, the copy of Xcode used to create the first version of Zapstore came from a friend in Madeira because I have no account with Apple.

He shared via USB drive but I immediately thought Zapstore (or at the very least a basic NIP-94 event) would be perfect for it.
