I like the concept of the Fediverse, but hate the name. Can we swap out “Fed” for something else? 😞 It is almost as bad as the name Homeland Security.
During my time at Microsoft, Bill Gates coined the phrase “Embrace and extend.” It was understood that this really meant embrace, extend, and extinguish.
