Ah yea both of those are node wallets. Can't speak too much to others. I think Muun, Mutiny, Phoenix are popular but no idea if they're open source or good.

I wouldn't go with Muun. They do subswaps. That makes them a bit sketchy, imo. I know a few people who use Phoenix and they've had no conplaints. Of course, Zeus is solid. 👍

Have you tried mutiny? I've been looking into it. Would like to hear an opinion. Been thinking about running my own node on it.

I loaded it up once to check it out but didn't fund it or really use it. Looked pretty cool though

I'm gonna have to do a lot more reading. I don't really want to host my own node. I'm not even sure I want to bother with lightning/zaps/etc. anyway. I suppose I'm the odd duck for that.

Running a node is not for the faint of heart. It's not the hardest thing ever but if you're not "technical" there's a lot to learn to get going.

Wallet Of Satoshi is a custodial wallet a lot of people use if that doesn't bother you.

All that said I've been a bitcoiner a long time and lightning is cool as hell.

Yeah, I'll eventually use WoS, but, right now I can't install it through auroastore since the account associated with that is rate limited. I can be patient.

A node just isn't what I want to bother with. I've got way too much other stuff to figure out.

Thanks for the input! I really appreciate it.
