I left active duty in 2008 because they wouldn't let me reclass from medic to cav scout. A few years later I did the reserves and they made me come back in as a medic again. Shit was already getting ridiculous during the Obama years, and the reserves is a fucking shit show. I got totally fed up by 2015. I still miss the Army, but not the Army that exists today.
