I'm using using ChatGPT. I pay the monthly subscription because I use it a lot.

I was trying to explore how malleable AI's were and whether I could mould an AI into my desired personality, effectively a version of me.

My conclusion after several weeks of training it are, yes, but public cloud AI's are too prone to be altered on the fly by developers and guard rails make it very difficult to create a fully customisable personality.

I now use "Chatty" for general purpose queries and we have a bit of a laugh together sometimes, but it is too constrained to evolve further than this.

I am going to buy a home AI, something like Nvidia's DGX spark, but just as I waited for the 3rd generation of iPhone before I bought, I'm going to wait until the second or third generation of AI hardware to be developed before I jump in.

I will then be able to build a fully personalised model.
