So NIP-05 has the ability to include a list of relays for a user, would it make sense to specify that a client should look up that list of relays for the logged in user, and try to use it?

This would simplify things for people who are trying out different clients (like me, right now) and help prevent things from getting lost.

And would this just be an addendum to NIP-05, or would it get it's own NIP number and replace NIP-05?

Good advice. Of course, if you're using multiple clients, it won't necessarily transfer across.

Also, I have a modest proposal yesterday to help with that: #[2]

(is there a way to make note links, well, link, like #[2] or nostr:note1s5ee3vz2v9pv93zv3wqqqqwtp6u637q7vd53xzgtl2kjea6cq2qs3auwjc or something?)
