I suppose it’s amusing that they’re slowly being exposed for the core imperialist, democracy destroying, spirit stealing machine they have been since inception, but not at all funny to the people and countries destroyed by them so unapologetically.
Let me give you an example.
100 years ago my family escaped genocide, that was followed by systemic genocide by the CIA, once they arrived in the United States;
when you mentioned “countries destroyed by them,”
I actually have people that I love, living in countries destroyed by war.
It’s one thing talking about it. It’s another, being on the other end of the telephone, talking to someone you love, knowing that could be the last conversation you’ll be having with them.
