Actually, I'm not, I'm loving life.
We've just had the house done up to put on the market and I've convinced the estate agent he doesn't need to KYC me.
By the end of the sales process, I hope to have converted the Estate Agent to Bitcoin and also potentially the buyer, who I'll state a preference to sell to in Bitcoin 😂
I had to prove my eligibility to rent! Not just financially. I kicked up such a fuss. I get they want to see wage slips and get references. I did that. Then they wanted everything from my passport to my inside leg measurement. I mean, why? They have my wage slips,referencees and national insurance number. Couple all that with whom I work for, I was not a happy bunny
Last year, I rented my Dads retirement place out, they paid my Dads account a year up front in fiat.
I produced an online tenancy agreement, I didn't give a shit who they are, still don't 😂
I have a tenant in Ventnor, I know who he is because he lives below my apartment there. I go to the pub with him when I'm there. I've never seen his passport or anything else.
Exactly! That's how it should be but, unless you do the work yourself, a letting agent has hoops to jump through. Apparently. I was born and bred here, I was fuming
Almost everybody is trust worthy almost 100% of the time.
Living your life on that basis and potentially getting scammed a couple of times in your life gives a far better than living your life assuming everybody is a crook and looking to scam you.
