not sure if you know this but one of the co-inventors of LN is the main author of LND

idk what his excuse is

btcd and lnd are a total shitshow

always used to think it was weird, and then i tried to do a PR on LND, one that was on the issues, to fix their protobufs to be a separate module

nope, tried tho get it merged 3 times and they kept slacking such that it always fell out of sync with master and i was over it, a month later

pretty sure my PR is still dangling
