Eric Schmidt says traditional user interfaces are going to go away.

In the age of agents, UI becomes ephemeral. Generated on demand, shaped by intent, not layout.

I'm ready for the future tech. We are living in both the most exciting of times and also the scariest of times. I prefer the exciting version.

I hope UI does not get generated on demand. That would be an awful experience. I hope it goes away instead. Being replaced by speech, image or text imputs.

Instead of having to type everything into carefully crafted forms, we can just tell it and it asks us any info it need.

Terminal is still the fastest and most efficient way to do any task.

I am happy with the new display-software of the washing machine from VZug.

thx, software-guys
