Is that green crescent in the black square the mate of a broken off black part up inside the red fingerpad? If not, you might just need a replacement rubber tip. Pretty sure someone sells those.

If yes, maybe a small dab of Krazy Glue on the top left and bottom right of the black square might hold the red tip on for a few more weeks/years?
