Not sure though how it looks in 10 years. I would guess that at least 95% of developers have become obsolete then. But I'm not a expert in this field, just a feeling. What do you think?

I don't think developers become obsolete, if yes so why we create and coding AI? 🤔
Developers ensured for decades that many others went out of business, so the logical final step would be to replace themselves 😅
Knowing & writing code will always be a super power. AI will replace a lot of “current jobs”; many of which are mindless tasks. Corporations are all standardizing & centralizing with big brother anyway. Who wants to work like that. Click here, yay task done.
The layers on top of BTC is the way. ChatGPT prompters will be a new role at companies but independent dev will still have a big place in the world.
Excellent. That's my point!
I sell software, been doing it for 20+ years. Almost every ROI includes replacing FTE’s. Do more with less people essentially. Yes, we all deserve what’s coming in a way.
Folks, if any of you worked in infrastructure, you would know that AI isn't replacing everything, anytime soon. Its a hellscape behind the golden curtain, held together by dudes with a pagerduty app and laptops.
