That was mainly the media and some media adjacent BTC monkeys that got caught up in it. Anyone in the audience at btc2024 knew it was the votes he wanted. He’s made good on much of what he promised already and I don’t think he’s done. But RFK jr gets it. And hearing trump right after RFK was a stark contrast. Trump will always trump, but I really think he’s trying to fix a bunch of stuff. So, people need to press the team around him to stay focused on non-shitcoin goals. He’ll use and fall for shitcoins otherwise.

Yeah. It made it really evident that Trump wasn’t there because he understood Bitcoin and how it fit. He was there because we were several thousand people already in a room that were passionate about something that he could make easy to keep promises against for our vote. My take was that the win is what he wanted.
He’s def a grifter. But he just may do some good in this cesspool we have. Nasty on nasty is the makeup of that city. Some chaos to clean the gaping wound is necessary before wrapping it up to heal. I do love the news cycle for the last few weeks. They can’t even keep up.
