If you went up to your friend while they are with their baby and you say “Look at this faggot” and the comment is directed towards the baby I assure you that your friend will be highly offended. It even works on people who say they can’t get offended. I don’t know why it works but it might be due to deep seeded homophobia that may be lingering inside us all. Or it could be due to directing such a comment towards an innocent baby.
