Personally, I still can't adjust to the idea of meeting people on dating apps. I've attempted to give it a go for years. I've failed. I think I was a lot more open to the idea in my youth.

I've been there for all my 20's is like a love-hate relationship with that kind of apps. I helped me to grow a lot in many regards, specially soft skills. Now I've been out of all dsting apps and most social media like IG, FB, TW, etc...
That helped me grow even more. Still, I think those kind of apps are affecting us in ways we don't understand and aren't so good 🤔

Yeah, I couldn't really tell, I don't have much experience with the dating apps. But yeah in general the fact we are more or mainly digitally communicating nowadays has its cons for sure. It feels much harder to meet people in real life in person for so it's almost like, do we have a choice?! Donno. I don't even know if that's true. I was living in a small town with a vibrant community and was interacting with tons of people irl for the last decade. Thought the dating pool didn't quite match what and who I was looking for. So that was limiting. Which is why I left the area eventually.

Is weird, I think we have plenty of fake connection and less real connections.
Nostr seems to be going a bit against this but only as long as one is attending to IRL events and things like that otherwise I feel that most of the time social media apps tend to work as an analgesic for socialization thet prevent us from going out and getting the real thing 🤔🧉 imo at least
