Yes, you can, note the account is in USD.
• Receive EUR via SEPA → it’s converted to USD when it lands.
• Send EUR via SEPA from your USD balance → we convert on the way out.
So any currency can be used its just it gets auto converted into USD within Xapo and then no exchange fees when you spend as it autoconverts to your own currency.
At what spot mark t rates do you do the conversions? Is it flat market or you have certain spread you add to the spot FX market?
Good question. For fiat FX on card spend we use the card network’s rate with 0% FX fee from us, no hidden markup. For BTC↔USD conversions in-app, we quote you live pricing with a small, transparent spread (around 0.10%) included in the quote, and you see it before you confirm.
