I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but:
Apple, Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta; these companies all think that they must be first to secure the whole pie. This is nihilistic Malthusian thinking and tells you of the parasitic nature of these companies. They do not see a truly open access AI with decentralized computing as a win, because it doesn't give them control.
For the self-sovereign, these are your enemies. They will not enter into business deals or vendor/client relationships for mutual benefit, such propositions to them are only stepping stones to wresting more power and control to themselves. Act accordingly.
