Culture comes from the word cultus, which is where we get the word "cult", and cult had the historical meaning of "worship".
Every single culture is built around worship of something. There is a God of the public square. And unless that God is Christ, the Author of Life, we get a culture of death; the slow-motion civilizational suicide via a rejection of children is just one example.
