Just lost a classic 5 seconds left bid battle and even enjoyed that.
I love how badly it makes you want to bid more but sometimes not overpaying is the most satisfying part. Probably some former poker player sickness.

Absolutely. I'm an absolute comic book addict and the bid wars in that community are awesome. Sometimes when the price gets too high you can drive people to overpay even more which is fun in itself
