Thank you, lol. I've been softening to light mode after putting hardcore blue-light filters on my screens, strongest at night. Light mode doesn't hurt so much when it isn't blasting your eyes with blue light. It's still pretty bright though.
And light mode is awesome on e-ink displays like the daylight computer. Sometimes on that display, I feel the same as your original post, but about the lack of light mode.
