Reading it again it is so well said and cuts to the heart of my horror and frankly my depression.
“Everything that we believed in before the genocide is not valid anymore;”. I believed that Israel had suffered terrible injusticehad been nearly annihilated and that they had the right to their land. But when I saw the pure evil they unleashed “and they do it gleefully, with a vengeance,” I had to question everything. This was not normal. The way they targeted journalists, doctors and children… then I learn they are taught from birth that the “other” is trying to kill them; the “other” is less than human, less than them; the “other” has taken their land. They are lied to from birth to become the killing machines they are. They are victims as well as monsters. And now the world sees it. I don’t know what will happen but the veil has been ripped to shreds.
