One thing people fearful of government and bitcoin regulation don’t seem to think about is that governments are comprised of people and that people rotate out, die, and new generations take over.

For every bitcoiner (well, many not every), there will be kids who grew up understanding bitcoin, who likely orange pill their peers. The next wave of bitcoiners will be way larger than ours, and will wield influence of their own. Combined with the newly orange-pilled masses, that number of people will continue growing until it’ll be impossible not to address. They will run for their own offices, and people will have to introduce very bitcoin-friendly laws.

I think this is an inevitability.
