notedeck multicast PR is up if any other native client dev wants to see how it works.
I really want to try this on an airplane, hopefully airplane wifi doesn't block multicast traffic, then anyone on the plane who has notedeck open on their computer could chat with each other, even without internet access. would be fun.

This seems to work for the first multicasted packet on android and then it stops working :( will have to see whats going on there.
For reliability we’re definitely gonna have to open up tcp connections and sync. Although it is really cool to send on one computer and see it update across my macbook, linux laptop, and android tablet.
This will be way cooler with giftwraps and chatrooms. Slack+DM notedeck apps soon™️..
