The reason men have short hair is because they were ordered to cut it during war, so the enemy couldn't behead them by grabbing their hair. This is where the stereotype of the bearded philosopher came from, because philosophers didn't fight in war.

Here's my hot take: modern businessmen are expected to be clean shaven because work is an analog to war.

I like women with short hair, can't take my eyes off them easily.

I used to have really long hair and it looked great on me but I don't have it anymore.

I can grow it easily if I wanted, my hair grows rapidly.

Long hair is a sexual signal in women as high oestrogen (among other things) is needed to maintain it. The less oestrogen the shorter the anagen phase.
