I have a new book coming out next month. This is a rough mock-up of the cover designed using my own images. Would love some feedback.

The subtitle gets lost at this size, and will get lost even more in a typical thumbnail. Consider making it more prominent if you want it to be clear what the book is about.
Agree might be as simple as making the smaller font bold so it is easier to read at different sizes ie. thumbnail

Color is closer to Nostr and it is fine. Nostr looking like something also won't die soon because protocols don't die.
Maybe the top text does not contrast enough with the clouds and space and you can make it white.
