You know what the basement people think about the closure of the German instance of home.social?

That it's a result of being run by a person who has commercial solutions and that it is a Venture Capital project, and the instance is 1 year old... blah blah blah... Basement people are evidently RESISTANT to arguments and substantive discussion.

As a person with some experience, I'm willing to bet a good whiskey that after the vacations there will be a big mess here in the fediverse, and Mastodon will be plowed under within 3 months when big tech comes in with solid, secure, and of course supervised solutions.

Then the basement people will continue to spout their nonsense. These are incorrigible people.
