What does the artichoke liqueur taste like? My partner, she collects bourbons , I don’t drink liquor but I’ll try her stuff and wine .. I stick to beer as much as possible when I’m in The situation. She said that it certainly intrigued her when I showed her your post , where can somebody be find a drink like that?

It's closest tasting to amaros . It pairs well with things that would have sweet vermouth. Manhattans, negronis, Vieux Care, those kinds of drinks. You should be able to find it at your local ABC or liquor store

Thanks!

Another cool dink is equal parts Cynar ans Reposado tequila. It's called a Reptar.

Oh we are definitely going to try to track it down … we totally fried artichoke hearts this evening for diner ,, when we get them fresh here , they are terribly expensive , but I steam them and then smoke them shortly and finish ona grill, buttered oiled and seasoned all the way,, I wish we grew them locally .. artichokes are underrated, but thanks for turning us onto this !

Ufff, sounds amazing !
