It’s funny when you have any sort of follower count online.

To some you’re a genius.

To some you’re a dumbass.

One guy loves you.

Another person hates you.

You’re either way off the mark or right on the money.

It’s funny.

At first it bothers you, because you’re a human and it’s natural to not want people to say or believe things that are untrue about you.

So you attempt to defend yourself, but that’s pointless so you stop.

Eventually you make peace with it and find it kind of funny.

Then you fully detach and start viewing your online persona as an avatar the same way everyone else does.

When people shit talk the avatar it’s meaningless to you.

As if they are talking about some other person, because in actuality…

They are.
