-THE BITCOIN BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

In "The Old Man and the Sea," Santiago, an experienced but unlucky fisherman, sets out on an 84-day fishing streak without a catch. On the 85th day, he hooks a massive marlin, engaging in a strenuous battle with the fish for three days and nights. Santiago's determination and mental fortitude are evident as he faces physical exhaustion and isolation at sea.

After successfully catching the marlin, Santiago's triumph is short-lived. On his journey back to the shore, sharks attack the marlin, leaving only its skeleton. Santiago defends his catch fiercely but returns home with only the skeleton tied to his boat.

The novella delves into Santiago's internal struggles, highlighting his pride, connection to the sea, and the bond he forms with the marlin. Hemingway's sparse prose and symbolism contribute to the depth of the narrative, exploring the human spirit's resilience in the face of both external challenges and the inevitable cycle of life and death.

Beautiful story

Absolutely ๐Ÿ’ฏ it's a classic.

"Hemingway's sparse prose and symbolism" is mostly because of booze..

and i dont mean it in a bad way, such a genius ๐Ÿป

Hemingway and Fitzgerald were both notorious drinkers (and friends), and the booze fuelled much of their creativity and was a massive part of their lifestyles for sure. ๐Ÿป

Love this book ๐Ÿ’œ
