I think i will wait till i can get an umbrel home device i dont really want to have to pay a monthly fee for a vps i understand ill still have to grab a domain and since i dont have a static ip ill have to setup a dynamic dns with a client on my system i think idk

Instead of getting a dedicated node , consider looking at #ProxMox.

You can then run your own VPSs.

This makes backup of the entire relay node easier.

Later you can add more machines and build it into a cluster.
