USA 🇺🇸: Pizzerias that use wood ovens in New York may have their days numbered.
Aiming to improve air quality in the city, the Department of Environmental Protection has drawn up new rules that oblige restaurants that use wood or coal ovens to reduce carbon emissions by up to 75%.
One of the rules? requires pizzerias with such ovens installed before May 2016 to purchase emissions control devices at a cost of up to $20,000.
