I have serious reservations about this. May be good for the U.S. government but bad for global, bitcoin as peer-to-peer money, which is the goal.
They will use whatever tool that will give them the most power
That's the whole reason they were discouraging individual #bitcoin use from the beginning
I see this more as inevitable. It's the first step into the full unraveling of the fiat system.
