A social credit score assesses whether you might make a profitable perpetrator.

They are both bad, but they are differently bad. I'm sure we already have both in Australia, just not as transparent about it as China.

Profitable perpetrator of what exactly? I’m looking for the distinction as I see both systems not only assessing the likelihood of profitable victim status, but patently creating profitable victims out of the majority of the population.

Enforcing gubment approved propoganda/behavior.
