I use DDG every day, it works great.
if I ever feel like my search needs Google, I can add " g! " to the search and it will redirect me to Google. I do this less than 1 time per month
Was Google Search > Brave Search considered among DDG & Start Page? I hear good things about Start Page, but not so much for DDG
