Yes. I am saying that people with these insane follower counts did not do this on purpose. It is just random bots or something.

only matters if you care about followers, either side of the spectrum, it shouldn’t be a big deal. the best part about damus is the ability to never have to see it, i’ve been ignoring it since i joined.
It matters to me if it’s effecting the performance of the protocol with bots. Otherwise it’s all fiat.

I don’t think so. Could possibly be resolved. Curious to know what relay they are coming from and if it’s something that can be handled on the backend. Or maybe it’s all fake and doesn’t matter. I dunno. I wouldn’t just outright delete your account tho 😂

People are right - you only need to add Uncle to your display name, nephews and nieces just start following.
follower count shouldn't be a valid metric
interactions, such as zaps, likes, boosts, comments, are the real metrics
What if we just showed mutual follower count 👀 improves performance, and its a more meaningful number
