the covid measures killed more people than covid

Again. Says the survivor.

This would be so whether I were alive or not. But feel free to wear your mask and inject yourself as instructed. I won’t stop you!

Who said anything about injecting now? It was during the pandemic that I'm talking about. If you are logic dictates that you have to contradict everybody who gets a vaccine, you probably would never have been born if your ancestors decide not to get vaccines when they were available. Making everything political probably is not in your best interest. I personally known someone who is 45 years old died on the ventilator and the father of that guy asking me what else I can do to help. He wasn't vaccinated. I'm not talking from what fauci or the president said at that time. In my experience, with the delta variant, that's were more or pretty much inevitable in people who did not get the vaccine. The vaccinated people fared well. I don't want you to change your mind about this. But at least try to see the other person's point of view. You are somebody who survived through a pandemic, probably without any big issues. Maybe you never got covid.

We do see a lot of admissions for people who come in with a heart failure flare up because they don't take their medications regularly. I don't see a big difference between you and them.

It's easier to argue your point of view without ever leaning on challenging it or changing it in the face of contradicting evidence. Medical term for that is delusion.

Remember the delta variant where people who weren't vaccinated and of certain age & body type were surely dying compared to the vaccinated peeps? Of course you don't. All you have to do is believe in something that you want to and spew it here.

We all did what we could. Some people survived some didn't. If it happens again we'll be in the same disarray because we don't think of a bacteria and virus being stronger than us. We don't have a society who collectively believe in science. Religion, politics, self interests come in to play. It's everyone for themselves.

It's easy to say now that you were somehow betrayed by researchers, physicians. Imagine being on a ventilator with COVID, having a prolonged illness and somehow surviving. Then your experience isn't the same.

If you still believe everything was on the level, and “we did all we could,” I don’t think anyone could convince you at this point.

Just because we could have done better, does not mean that we haven't done anything.
