What the teams said – Qualifying in Saudi Arabia
Red Bull have turned their weekend around in style. They struggled yesterday in the first session, but kept fine-tuning the car and wound up with Verstappen right in the mix all through Qualifying. But he alone from the top teams went for two runs after the Q3 red flag. It was tight on time but it proved a masterstroke, as he got his eye in ahead of his final lap. That lap was good enough for his second pole of the season, perhaps even more unexpected that the first. As for Tsunoda, he made Q3 to back up his team mate, but could not find the same turn of pace late on.
