You’re right. But my argument is that talking about them on social media doesn’t do anything. It only creates the illusion that you’re doing something productive.

Who’s to say these “fence sitters” aren’t doing things behind the scenes? Donating money, helping real people within their communities, etc. Why is talking about it on social media the “correct way” to progress? It’s not.

That’s fine, I’m not questioning the morality of those people at all. Most of my friends are in that camp, they’re good people although quite naive in their world views. No one said it’s the correct way to progress did they? It’s just a conversation, freedom of speech that’s all imo.

You didn’t outright say it was the correct way, but that was what I got out of you saying “what about the people….”
