The thing that bugs me about calling it #Bitcoin lake if you've heard the term is that Atitlán is a sacred place, very important for the native Kakchiquel people who have had their places taken away and rebranded for centuries. More than being offended for someone else though, that place is so rich with local energy that it's palpable, and it just seems disrespectful to not call it by its name.
