Nostr has a distinct vibe that I haven't seen anywhere else.

It doesn't really have the celebrity influencer / reply guy caste system that X has.

Political slop is minimal and most political content is meaningful, informative, and minimally divisive.

The IQ and builders per capita is probably the highest I've seen, and the "small town", mostly friendly vibe is unmatched.

Even the memes are better.

In short, it's high signal to noise.
