Someone should write a fantasy novel based on this art style. One could use this somewhat forgotten art for illustrations.

I feel like the Sword and Sorcery genre in particular really has this vibe.

Absolutely πŸ’―. Frank Frazetta was a very early pioneer in this fantasy genre of art and actually influenced much of the Sword and Sorcery type illustrations.

What S&S books or series would you most recommend? Feel like reading some more now 😁

Awesome, thanks so much! I actually just ordered a new kindle, gonna put some of these on it 😁

Frank Frazetta actually illustrated some of the Conan novels with is awesome art.

Sounds like a great idea. πŸ’‘ Maybe one day I will get really creative and do something like that. One of my favourite poets is William Blake who also illustrated his own poetry with amazing art.

So here is the image for the first part of our story. ' Kane on the Golden Sea'. The first part of the story I have sent to the chat via message there. πŸ‘
