Irish farmers been sucking on the tit HARD for a long time, they wouldn't know where to begin getting weaned off it.
They are confused now, they don't understand that the government does not have their best interests at heart, and that this is a fight for their survival.
Farmers will go the way of fishermen if they don't roll up their sleeves and start throwing a few digs.

Completely agree. Compliance seems to come readily after all the monetary lubrication.
Turns out free money isn't free, it's the cost of compliance.
