I'm hesitant to import my tweets. The preview:

doesn't look like something I would like to share as such. Or is https://exit.pub/ just not rendering TextNotes like others would?

nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft what is "Include threads" vs. "Include OP tweets"? To me it sounds like the first is threads with more than one tweet while "OP tweets" are 1-long threads. Why is one on by default and the other not?

Now changing the category checkboxes after hitting "generate events" doesn't change the events or their checkboxes. I think it would make it easier to understand what's going on if I could dynamically change things after importing.

Despite being a cool feature for I believe that what was born on twitter should stay and die on twitter.

sounds like "not invented here" syndrome to me

ultimately, people can choose to import the stuff they think makes sense to import, I don't see anything wrong in having the option

It was a honest opinion of mine. nothing to say feature wise, it's cool asf that you managed to make us able to granularly import tweets.

*I* wouldn't import the stuff *I* tweeted because it was for a different audience, for a different purpose and with a different style.

Nothing wrong for other people wanting to do so 😁 for example, having @dergigi wisdom transported here can only make me happy

yeah, the preview is very raw; keep in mind I wrote this in a few hours

correct, threads vs OP tweets is tweets you started that have more than at least one response from yourself to the tweet, whereas "OP tweets" are just tweets you authored even if you didn't create a thread.

I made one default because, I don't know, I thought it made sense

and yeah, I noticed the bug where after clicking generate events you'd need to restart if you want to change the selection -- need to fix

So where should we report bugs or feature requests?

I would like to change all the twitter url shortneres tracking links for direct links.

I would really like to know if running the tool twice using the same version of the tool would create identical event IDs or would it duplicate all the events?

Regarding the url shortener links ... some of them appear to be embedded tweets. Those would probably also deserve special treatment on nostr.
