Just saw this video being shared online. I think it is very much worth posting it here as well to all the parents out there:

That’s deep, thanks for sharing

this is a very good video. thank you!

This was an expensive ad , who made it?

Adam & Eve/DDB Berlin for Deutsche Telekom from what I’ve read

It's disturbing. I can't help but feel it's using a fear message to achieve some end. I'm hyper-cynical.

The online harms bill in the UK for example is using the existence of child pornography to ban encryption online.

Is that so? Hmmm.

There are always 2 sides about these subjects. Banning encryption is definitely not the solution.

There is a massive incentive for governments to create an "online boogeyman" in order to justify censorship and expand regulation of the Internet. I believe that is the primary goal of this advertisement.

Could definitely be the case. We’ll fight them if that is indeed what they want to achieve.🤙

Totally agree with you on that. But the video was worth posting imo, awareness about this topic is never bad.

The stretch is a bit in line with the ‘Jane is Awful’ episode of Black Mirror.

Haven't seen it yet. I immediately think of predictive programming when I think of Black Mirror. The idea of presenting a technology to the public on television so that it doesnt seem unfamiliar when it happens.

When you deploy the technology rather. It creates the assumption in the publics mind that this is just the way things are going on that they are to accept it.

I think that’s being done quite a lot… more than we know about.
