I think this might be unavoidable. It seems like adoption of bitcoin as currency is almost completely in place of government benefitting currencies. Can this be avoided?

Until today, I did not know bitcoin was created as a money to bypass institutional interference...
I have not used btc much, So I am not sure if this is truly a different type of money. But if it is, then it may be unavoidable.
Still, labeling a group of people as "anti-whatever" sounded as over simplification.
There is a case to be made that the painful separation of currency away from governments will ultimately purify and benefit them.
This is my view, but I also think there will probably have to be a period of regression before a higher form of government without currency control could emerge.
